ATP Challenger Tour Results: Kouamé Makes History, Dietrich Goes Back-to-Back

26 October – 1 November 2026

French teenager Moïse Kouamé made history with his first ATP Challenger Tour title in Brest, while Dylan Dietrich continued his remarkable run with a second consecutive championship in Sioux Falls.

There were five singles champions across the Challenger Tour during the week, with Térence Atmane winning a dramatic final in Seoul, Yaroslav Demin coming through a deciding-set tiebreak in Ningbo, and Hugo Dellien taking the Guayaquil title following his opponent’s retirement.

Kouamé joins elite company with breakthrough in Brest

At just 17, Moïse Kouamé became the eighth-youngest first-time ATP Challenger champion since 2010, defeating American Martin Damm 6-4, 6-7(5), 7-6(4) in the Brest Challenger 100 final.

The French teenager’s achievement places him on a list that includes Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev, all of whom won their first Challenger titles at a young age.

Brest was also the location of Roger Federer’s first and only Challenger title, won in 1999. Kouamé had earned his first ATP ranking points in the same city two years earlier.

The victory was the biggest title of Kouamé’s professional career and another massive step in his rapid development, which also means a huge step in ranking. He now moves to a career high #132.

Dietrich claims second consecutive Challenger title

Switzerland’s Dylan Dietrich followed his Challenger 75 victory in Columbus with another title at the Challenger 100 event in Sioux Falls.

The University of Virginia player recovered from a slow start against Canada’s Liam Draxl, winning 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the final.

Dietrich’s run also included a 6-3, 6-3 victory over top seed Jenson Brooksby in the second round, his first career win against an ATP top-100 player.

“This one is special,” Dietrich told the University of Virginia’s official athletics website. “It is even bigger than the one in Columbus because this was a 100.”

Dietrich had reached the semifinals in each of his previous three Challenger appearances and improved his professional-level record since 1 June to 33 wins and seven losses. He has also improved his ranking to a career best #189, essentially locking up a qualifying place at the Australian Open.

Atmane edges Wong in Seoul thriller

Térence Atmane defeated Coleman Wong 7-6(3), 3-6, 7-6(9) to claim the Seoul Challenger 125 title.

The Frenchman was pushed to the limit in the deciding-set tiebreak, eventually winning it 11-9 to complete a closely contested final.

Wong was appearing in his second consecutive Challenger final, having finished runner-up to Tristan Schoolkate in Guangzhou the previous week.

Atmane’s victory came at the highest-category Challenger tournament held during the week, and takes his Challenger title tally to five titles from six finals.

Demin battles through qualifying to win Ningbo

Yaroslav Demin claimed the Challenger 75 title in Ningbo, defeating fellow Russian Petr Bar Biryukov 5-7, 6-2, 7-6(6).

Demin’s route included a quarterfinal victory over world #220 Harold Mayot and a three-set semifinal win against Hsu Yu-hsiou.

He completed his run by winning the tense deciding-set tiebreak 8-6 in the championship match.

Dellien takes Guayaquil title after retirement

Bolivia’s Hugo Dellien claimed the Challenger 75 title in Guayaquil, Ecuador, after Uruguay’s Joaquín Aguilar Cardozo retired during the final.

Dellien was leading 7-5, 1-0 when the match ended, securing the clay-court championship.

The Bolivian had defeated Valerio Aboian in the semifinals, while Aguilar Cardozo reached the final by beating João Lucas Reis da Silva.
