Some big results on the ATP Challenger Tour last week, including another win from one of the most exciting teenagers on the tour.
Hubert Hurkacz won his first Challenger event in seven years defeating Sebastian Baez in Cancun, in what could’ve easily been a Rd 3 or 4 Grand Slam match up.
Luca Van Assche moves up to a career high of #40 on the back of his fourth Challenger title of the year. He’s having a great season, and could be on track for a seeded position in Australia next year.
Valentin Royer has had nearly 18 months between titles, but his drought is over, after defeating Pedro Martinez in Jamaica.
Jan Kumstat won his third title in his last three tournaments, and has smashed through the top 200, after being outside 500 just a month or so ago. A stunning run from the Czech teenager, and he may not be playing Challengers too much longer.
Oliver Tarvet was the only first-time winner on the tour last week, taking out the Roehampton title, while Dominic Stricker, the 2020 Roland Garros Junior winner, won his first Challenger in three years.

Sion 50, Clay: Dominic Stricker (SUI) def. Benjamin Hassan (LIB), 6–1, 2–6, 6–2
