Seven Challenger events last week, and some big names on the winners list, as well as plenty of first-time winners. Alejandro Tabilo won his 7th Challenger title with a hard-fought win over Zizou Bergs. The former top 20 player finds himself back up to 35 in the world, after starting the year outside the top 80.
Matteo Arnaldi hasn’t had a great year so far, but found success with a big win over Hubert Hurkacz to move close to the top 100 again. Roman Safiullin won his 8th Challenger title in a very close final over Jaime Faria.
The other four winners, Coleman Wong, Nikolas Sanchez Izquierdo, Gauthier Onclin, and Buvaysar Gadamauri all won their maiden Challenger title.
