Bernard Tomic has won his first Challenger Tour title for 8 years, taking out the Lincoln 75 title in a very close final. He falls just short of moving back inside the top 200, but it’s great to see him back on the winners list.
All five Challenger events last week were 75’s, which is unusual. Guy den Ouden took out his home title at the Dutch Open in Bunschoten. Max Alcala Gurri is up to a career high live ranking of #181, after he won his second Challenger event of the year, taking out the Cordenons event.
Another Aussie, Aleksandar Vukic found his form after a pretty rough couple of years, winning the Granby event – his first Challenger in 3 years, as he tries to get back inside the top 100. While Chris Rodesch continued his solid season, with his third Challenger title of 2026, winning the Pozoblanco event.
