Bellucci, Džumhur and Passaro headline six ATP Challenger singles champions across China, Europe and South America.
Six ATP Challenger Tour singles titles were decided during the week of 12 October 2026, with tournaments staged in China, Italy, Portugal, France and Bolivia.
Italy enjoyed a particularly successful week, producing three champions across the six events. Mattia Bellucci claimed the Challenger 125 title in Jinan, Francesco Passaro won the Challenger 100 event in Maia, and Gianluca Cadenasso triumphed on home soil in Catania.
Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Damir Džumhur was another notable winner, defeating Britain’s Jacob Fearnley in the Olbia Challenger final.
Of the six finals, four were decided in three sets, including Mika Brunold’s comeback victory over Matteo Martineau in Roanne and Thiago Seyboth Wild’s straight-sets win over home favourite Hugo Dellien in Santa Cruz.
Bellucci wins Challenger 125 title in Jinan
Mattia Bellucci captured the week’s joint-highest-level title, defeating Spain’s Martín Landaluce 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 in the Jinan Open final.
The Italian recovered after losing the second set to secure the Challenger 125 title on the Chinese hard courts.
In the other Challenger 125 event, experienced Bosnian Damir Džumhur defeated Jacob Fearnley 7-6(4), 6-3 in Olbia, Italy.
Passaro and Brunold claim Challenger 100 titles
Francesco Passaro came from a set down to defeat Hungary’s Zsombor Piros 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 in the Maia Challenger final in Portugal.
The victory came on indoor clay, one of the less common surface combinations on the Challenger circuit.
In France, Switzerland’s Mika Brunold produced another comeback, defeating Matteo Martineau 2-6, 7-6(5), 6-1 at the Open de Roanne.
Brunold’s victory was particularly impressive given that he was just one tiebreak away from defeat after losing the opening set.
Seyboth Wild and Cadenasso complete the week’s champions
Brazil’s Thiago Seyboth Wild claimed the Challenger 75 title in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, defeating local favourite Hugo Dellien 6-4, 6-3 on clay.
Meanwhile, Gianluca Cadenasso won the Challenger 50 event in Catania, Italy, overcoming Romania’s Radu Mihai Papoe 6-4, 3-6, 6-4.
Cadenasso’s victory completed a strong week for Italian players, who accounted for half of the six singles champions.
