British teenager Hannah Klugman claimed the biggest title of her career at the W100 Wrexham tournament, while Israel’s Amit Vales won consecutive M15 events in Heraklion during another busy week on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
A total of 31 singles finals were contested across the men’s and women’s circuits from 19–25 October, including 16 women’s events and 15 men’s tournaments.
Klugman wins biggest career title in Wrexham
Hannah Klugman, 17, defeated France’s Elsa Jacquemot 6-2, 6-4 to win the W100 Wrexham title, completing the tournament without dropping a set.
The British wildcard entered the event ranked No. 341 and defeated several higher-ranked opponents during the week, including Rebecca Šramková in the quarterfinals and fellow Briton Jodie Burrage in the semifinals.
