Some disruption to the ATP Challenger Tour last week, with the war in the Middle East causing the Fujairah event to be cancelled – although not after an attempt to get it going. But for the rest of the tour, there were no first-time winners, which bucks the trend of previous weeks.
Sebastian Ofner won his second title of the year, as he pushes back up into the top 100. Henrique Rocha took out his 3rd Challenger title, and is only 20 ranking spots short of his career high of #149. Another Austrian found success last week, with Joel Schwaerzler also winning a second title this year after taking out Lugano. He moves to a career high ranking of #214.
Toby Samuel is now three Challenger titles from three finals, after dominating the Hersonissos final. That win also pushes him just a single place off his career high of #244.
